LIEDER ALIVE! is proud to present Curtis on Tour, featuring artists from the prestigious Curtis Institute of Music performing Brahms’ exuberant and charming Liebeslieder Waltzes for vocal quartet and piano, four hands, Op. 52, along with other selected Lieder and duets on the theme of love, for the Valentine’s Day weekend. The student and alumni vocalists—soprano Sage DeAgroRuopp, mezzo-soprano Anastasiia Sidorova, tenor Dominic Armstrong (’09), and baritone Patrick Wilhelm—will perform with two outstanding professional collaborating pianists, Mikael Eliasen and Miloš Repický. The concert will take place at 5:00 pm at the Noe Valley Ministry, an intimate performance space perfectly suited to the tradition of Lieder performance. The program will be followed by a reception with the artists. Curtis on Tour is the Nina von Maltzahn Global Touring Initiative of the Curtis Institute of Music.
