KARIN CARSON is a talented and appealing jazz singer. The granddaughter of San Diego jazz trumpeter Peter Sirna, Karin grew up around music. Early in life, her talents extended beyond singing to include organizing youth events, puppet shows, and choirs. She has held positions with Jazz 88.3 FM, Stanford Jazz Workshop and the Monterey Jazz Festival. She is an avid spokeswoman and activist for the music she so dearly loves. Her debut album "The Time Is Now" is a mixture of jazz standards, originals and a few surprises. The collection as a whole forms a soundtrack for her purpose driven life. www.karincarson.com
