Left Bank Brasserie in Larkspur, in association with Book Passage bookstore’s Cooks with Books program, will host a lunch on Sunday, April 26 with Fanny Singer, author of the newly released Always at Home: A Daughter’s Recipes & Stories. The event will begin at 12:30 p.m. and tickets are $125.00 per person which includes the meal, wine, tax, gratuity and a signed copy of the Singer’s new memoir. The event kicks off with a book signing, followed by a sit-down meal. Guests will have the chance to talk with Singer, daughter of food icon Alice Waters, whose book chronicles a world of food, wine and travel; shares the story of her own culinary coming of age; and reveals a side of her legendary mother not seen before. Having spent more than a decade living in the United Kingdom, Singer recently moved back to her native California. The foreword to her book is written by Alice Waters.
